Researching 4

Today I researched how to house hatchling geckos.
I learned that I need to house the newborn geckos in a plastic shoebox.
Once they are old enough to sell (one - two months), I move them onto a (around 50-65 gallon) tank.

Researching 3

Today I researched how to incubate the gecko eggs.

I learned that i need Vermiculite, Perlite, or Reptile incubating medium to keep the eggs moist.
I found a simple, cheap, and well-working incubator.
I also learned that i need to keep the incubating medium moist, and put the eggs halfway down in the medium.

Researching 2

Today I researched about how to precondition Leopard Geckos.
Preconditioning is the changing of temperature and/or amount of time they have light.
This makes them aware that breeding season is about to occur.

I learned that I do not have to precondition Leopard Geckos for them to breed, but it can help.

Reasearching 1

Today I researched how to breed leopard geckos.

I learned how to house the geckos, and how to take care of gravid (pregnant) females.
I also learned how long it takes for the female to lay her eggs, and how long it takes for the eggs to hatch.

Original Two Geckos

Leah - I have had Leah for about 2 or 3 months now. She is a Bell Albino. I am going to breed her when she gets old enough.

Leo - I have had Leo for about 2 or 3 years now. I recieved him and his tank from a friend. Leo really sparked my interest in Leopard Geckos.
