Sadly, today, my oldest leopard gecko, Leo, died. He was atleast 15 years old. And i have had him for over 4 years.
He never had a good nutrition. For the (atleast) 12 years before i had him he was fed on crickets and pinky mice, never anything like mealworms and wax worms. He never had a very fat tail, and he was alwase housed on sand. Lately he just started to not be able to eat very well and started slowly losing weight.

It is always sad to lose a pet. I am sorry for your loss. I know you gave Leo a very good home.
Leo was such a good gecko. I prefer the furry pets, but he was so cool to just lay on someone and hang out. I think through him you found your intense love with geckos.
